Popova Sapka - a ski paradise

In the Polog region, there is a pearl unbeknownst to many ski enthusiasts. Rising well above 2500m at some points the Popova Sapka ski center has been a staple in Balkan ski culture since the 20th century. Even one of the best in the world, famous Croatian skier Janica Kostelic, as well as her brother Ivica, were not only known to visit this ski center, but it is the very place where they developed their passion for skiing. 

The terrain itself has to offer a lot, anything from family fun tracks with little to no challenge to stiff mountain peaks that are there to be conquered by only the most experienced of skiers.
