Galichnik Wedding or Petrovden Galichnik Wedding - event held every year on Petrovden (12 July) in the village of Galichnik on Mountain Bistra. This wedding is rich in many unique wedding customs and rituals. In the days of the wedding the oboes and drums roar through the village and the Bistra Mountain. Those companions of migrant workers in this part of Macedonia always announce the Galichnik Wedding which has the most wedding guests. The Galichnik wedding contributed to nurture the unique wedding customs and rituals of the inhabitants of this region, to preserve the original songs, dances, and the widely known Galichnik costume - made with filigree and tailor precision. Each year a special commission selects a young couple to be married at the Galichnik Wedding. One of the prerequisites is that at least one of the couple comes from a Galicnik family.
